We’re getting married!

Anna- I surrendered my entire life to the Lord and started seeking him whole heartedly. I remember one day specifically walking and talking with the Lord as Omar walked into the shop. I was watching him walk in from my barber chair, (which is all the way in the back, by the way, which I love.) I can remember talking with the Lord right then saying, “I need a man in my life like that.” By this time I had been seeing Omar come into the shop for about two years now and every time he’d walk through that shop door he’d walk with such an authoritative and dignified persona. Still does til this very day. I always knew I wanted a strong man in my life like that. I had already been praying years prior to the Lord, if he had a husband for me he would have to bring him to me bc I was done with trying by my own will. The Lord blessed me and sat him right in my barber chair. Only by the Lords unfailing grace and mercy which are new every day. Omar- I remember the first time I saw Anna at the Barber Shop working. I asked my Barber, “Who is that?” He said that is Joey’s sister. I said, “I didn’t know Joey had a sister.” For two years I wondered how can I speak to Anna and find out her situation without everyone being in my business, just in case she turned me down. Based on a recommendation I was told I should ask her if she can start cutting my son’s hair, so I asked. I felt like this was the door I asked the Lord to open for me and I promised I would walk through it, if she was the right one. So I took a leap of faith a few weeks later. One day I walked over to Anna and asked if I may speak with her for a moment. She gave me an enthusiastic look with an eager yes in her voice. The next thing I knew I had booked one of her men facial treatments and I was asking for her number. The rest is history.
