Wheelhouse
Wheelhouse is our favorite coffee (and pup cup) shop in town! This dog-friendly spot in South Slope is open for coffee and cocktails. Enjoy a game of pool or catch some live music while you're here!
River Arts District
This is our favorite area to grab a coffee and explore the many art studios that make up the extraordinary Asheville arts scene. Many of these artists were displaced after Hurricane Helene and would greatly appreciate your support!
Mount Pisgah
We hiked Mt. Pisgah for our first date! If you have access to a car, we recommend enjoying this 5mi hike, where you're rewarded with a stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Not up for hiking but want the views? Enjoy a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway - there are many overlooks along the way and the historic Pisgah Inn is a great stop for lunch!
Craggy Dome
Another one of our favorite spots! Enjoy the scenic drive north to Craggy Dome, where you can take a short, uphill hike to one of our favorite views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Additional tip: keep driving north on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Mount Mitchell State Park to reach the highest U.S. peak east of the Mississippi!
Bears BBQ
Oliver's favorite spot for delicious BBQ and southern sides. Enjoy their full bar, local brews, and lawn games in the heart of South Slope.
Little Chango
As Anna's favorite spot for a quick, casual bite. With arepas and other Latin American dishes, this spot's small size deceives its big flavor. Recently awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, it's a must try! [Tip: Go for lunch to try their lonchera (lunch box) special]
Soprana Rooftop Cucina
As our favorite rooftop, this is the place for you whether you're looking for yummy pizza with a view or a refreshing cocktail at the bar! If you're hoping to sit down for a meal, we recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
