The crazy thing is, Noah and Anna both studied abroad the same summer, in the same country only two hours away from each other. At some point, they were both exploring the same city at the same exact time, but never ran into each other. Once back in the states, Noah and Anna ended up working at the same study abroad fair on the 21st of September (prepare to hear the song 'September' play at our wedding). They ended up visiting each other’s tables and learned they were both Christians that loved to study the Word of God and also both shared a passion for travelling to other nations. After Noah asked for her number very slyly, the dates never ended from there!

After Anna had been in Arkansas for a full summer leading kids at Camp Ozark, Noah knew Arkansas meant more to her than just a camp. Noah had just got back from Poland on a mission trip and began planning his way to secure Anna’s heart for life. He conjured up a plan to surprise Anna in Arkansas by finally popping the question. They found their way to Pinnacle Mountain in Little Rock and began their ascent up the most challenging hike either of them had ever done. This part Noah forgot to research, but it ended up being the best hike of both of their lives once the top of the mountain was finally reached. Taking in the beautiful scenery, Noah got down on his knee in front of an absolutely astonished Anna and asked her for a future together as the Eklund’s. Without a doubt, Arkansas became a place to remember on that mountain. Thank you for the role you have each played in our stories. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
