U.S. National Whitewater Center
We love going here for hiking, the huge dog park for Copper and Olaf, kayaking, rafting, or just relaxing with delicious food and drinks by the rapids enjoying live music!
Belmont Bookshop
We stopped here on the Greater Charlotte Book Crawl and were charmed immediately! A great selection of books and make sure to grab a drink and stay awhile. Don't forget to say hello to the precious shop dog, Libby :)
The Everyday Market - Belmont
A great spot right down the main street from Belmont Bookshop! Fuel up with their delicious coffee and baked goods or grab a dessert to go with your new book :) Specialty foods sold here as well if you want to make a meal at your Airbnb or take home a souvenir!
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Gorgeous spot to roam and get some fresh air after your travels! Beautiful plants year-round and you can bring your own picnic (maybe with some goodies from Everyday Market perhaps?) or buy provisions at The Garden Store onsite.
Nellie's Southern Kitchen
Get a taste of the South here! Owned by the Jonas (yes, as in the Jonas Brothers) Family, a delicious and cozy spot to continue the celebration :)

A really lovely spot to sit on the water and enjoy some peace and quiet. Swings on the pier are an amazing spot to spend some time.
