Anna and Nick technically met at Crean Lutheran High School. Anna and Nick knew of each other and were in the same graduating class, but were never close at the time. They both played soccer and briefly talked at a Christmas party FCA event. They kept in touch through social media throughout college (liking each other's Instagram stories), and then one day they added each other on LinkedIn. After they both did some stalking, they realized they had a lot in common with Nutrition & Food Science. Anna decided to message Nick on Instagram about his experience at Cal State Long Beach (that was definitely the only reason). They began messaging a lot and catching up. A few weeks later, Nick reached out to Anna about a cheese conference (even though she was dairy-free at the time), and they began texting again. He asked her to grab coffee, and they talked for hours on end. The rest is history!
