Matt and I met in October of 2018, thanks to mutual friends. A couple of us had driven up to Mt. Greylock to see if snow had actually fallen. On our way back, we stopped at what was then the Lakeside Bar and Grille, where we happened to meet Matt and his friends. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into an entire evening together, talking and laughing into the early morning. The very next day, we went on our first date… and we’ve been together ever since. It wasn’t technically “love at first sight,” but it was remarkably close. Seven years have flown by.
