We went here on our first date and got engaged here! Its beautiful especially in June!
Hands down the best pizza in the city. Definitely one of our all-time favorite restaurants
Belle Isle is a great outdoorsy spot. We love going here with the dog to hike or swim in the river
We love the Veil, its a fun, small brewery that has a lot of atmosphere!
The science museum is really fun for all ages. They have a great IMAX theater and really fun exhibits. Its one of our favorite museums in Richmond
Short Pump Mall is a great shopping spot and one of the nicest malls in Virginia. Its only about a 20 minute drive from downtown but worth the drive if you enjoy shopping!
Great brunch spot! Be prepared for a wait on the weekends, the food is worth it. They are more than happy to make you yummy drinks while you wait!
Very fun prohibition/speakeasy style bar. Make sure to check their twitter for the daily password. Definitely would recommend checking this out!
Maymont is a fun place for the family. They have a nature center, animals, and tons of walking trails. It's unfortunately not dog friendly but is a fun place to spend the afternoon if the weather is nice.
Buzz and Ned's is a Richmond BBQ staple. Their original location is on the Boulevard but this location is closer to both hotel blocks. It's affordable, great food.
Really fun brewpub that's connected to a good Vietnamese restaurant- you can even order some of the Vietnamese food from the pub side or go to the Vietnamese side for a full meal
Toast is great- I've been here for brunch and lunch. It's a really cute restaurant that isn't far from the hotel blocks. It's not far from the University of Richmond
Awesome Vietnamese food and is connected to the Answer brewpub
Great brunch and dinner options- also has a downtown location as well
