Clear Creek Trail
A flat, paved trail alone Clear Creek in Golden, this is a great place for a stroll. You can pick up the trail from the Golden Welcome Center located at Washington Avenue and 10th Street, and follow it for a few miles west through the town and into the mountains.
Lookout Mountain
Located right in Golden, you can drive or hike up this mountain for spectacular views. The Chimney Gulch Trailhead is walkable from the Eddy hotel (the hike to the top is an out-and-back route and is about 7 miles roundtrip).

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
A premier concert venue at night, Red Rocks is open to the public during the day! You can hike the surrounding trails, climb the stairs,or just take in the views. Admission and parking are free if there's no event scheduled.
