Distance from airports to venue: 35 miles from MIA, 60 miles from FLL. We encourage you to click on the "view" tab below for an online article on tips to booking flights at the cheapest prices. Skyscanner is one of the mentioned websites in the article that we have used with great success. However, as noted, some airlines, like Southwest, won’t show up on such sites so don’t forget to book directly with airlines. Finally, airlines may offer military discount to current service members when calling them directly. Also, don't forget that your DoD ID number will grant you TSA Precheck. Florida car rental companies do offer either an E-Pass or SunPass for a fee but each company varies so please verify with them. Don't forget you can also purchase your own E-Pass or SunPass via the websites listed in the Driving Personal Owned Vehicle section. If you decide to purchase your own pass, make sure you: -Remove the rental company's pass if it is installed in the car (double check with your rental company) -Link your temporary E-Pass or SunPass to the rental car license plate before leaving the lot -Remove your pass when returning the rental car "Things rental car companies won't tell you..." -Ju$t Breathe!
