Question

What time should guest arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guest arrive at 5:00 PM and head to the rock wall garden to be seated for the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will promptly start at 5:30 PM.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that the gentlemen wear more formal attire. For example, a dress shirt, tie, and dress pants, a full suit, or a tuxedo. We ask that the ladies wear formal attire as well (i.e. a nice dress, dress romper, or dress pant suit).

Where will the ceremony and the reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan. The ceremony will be outside in one of the gardens (weather permitting). The reception will be held in their air conditioned tent following cocktail hour. Address for Meadow Brook Hall is, 350 Estate dr. Rochester, MI 48309.

Are kids welcome?

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Guest will have the opportunity to tour the grand estate! There are 3 floors of the mansion to check out. If you are not interested in touring the mansion then you may relax and enjoy some houre d'oeuvres, and open bar on us! Cocktail hour will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Parking?

Answer

Meadow Brook Hall has parking to the left of the main gate entrance. There will not be valet available, however, if you need to be dropped off near the front entrance through the main gate by a family member you may, as long as that family member parks your car for you after.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you!

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our specified deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner. We hope you understand, and we will miss you celebrating with us!

What if I am running late to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are running late you can still enter the area after the bridal party and bride have walked down, however, we ask that you quietly wait towards the rear and not disrupt the ceremony. If you are uncomfortable with that, then please join us for cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony at 6:00 PM.

What's the timeline of events look like?

5:00 PM Guest arrival 5:30 PM Ceremony begins 6:00 PM Cocktail hour and time to tour the mansion 7:00 PM have your drink and find your seat for the grand entrance 7:15 PM Mr. and Mrs. Kreimes' grand entrance, cake cutting, and a blessing from Anna's Aunt 7:30 PM Dinner is served! Followed by some toasts 8:30 PM First dances and evening entertainment 9:30 PM Late night snack is served 11:00 PM Our wedding ends! Please make sure to travel safely, plan for a ride, an uber home, or uber to the hotel.
