You're probably wondering how a girl from small-town Indiana met a boy from one of the largest cities in the country. Anna and Keith's story started in 2022, when they happened to match on a dating app. The problem remained that Anna was living 20+ hours away in Kansas, while Keith was stowed away in Massachusetts. Anna was completing an internship fresh out of veterinary school, knowing that she would be making the cross-country move to Tufts for a specialty internship in exotics and emergency medicine. Keith was still in school to get his systems technician's license, and neither expected to fall in love with someone picked by an algorithm. Anna knew that she was moving, so she had set her location bubble to the Boston area, hoping that the 6 weeks until she had to move would be long enough to find out if the other person was sane. How did the conversation start? Keith saw Anna's profile description which happened to say 'No axe murderers'. Keith messaged her asking how strict she was about the 'no murderers' policy, and they quickly began exchanging pictures of their beloved dogs. They both knew very quickly that the other was something special, and haven't looked back since. They first met when Keith flew out to Louisville to help her move the 14 hours from Indiana to Massachusetts. When Anna went to pick Keith up at the airport, her legs gave out when she saw him for the first time. One would think spending 14 hours in a cross-country road trip was not the best idea of a first date, but it was perfect for Anna and Keith. They continued to build a family together, rescuing a puppy from Anna's place of work (Strudel). Anna's internship was hard, and having such a strong support system in a place so far from home helped her get through it. Eventually, they moved in together and also adopted two frogs (Carmen San Diego and Waldo), five fish, and many shrimp. They live together with their four dogs (Remi, Zip, Indi, and Strudel), and are excited to start the next step of their life journey together.
