This is about a 30 min drive outside of New Orleans and a great spot to go for a little walk and check out the local nature. We love to go in our canoe! Then head over to Dong Phuong for bánh mì and meat pies.
A great way to learn about the city's history and culture. Sylvain and Cane and Table are excellent restaurant/bars nearby. Grab a late night snack or poboy at Verti Mart or Quarter Grocery :)
This is Anna's favorite art museum. Be sure to check out the Benny Andrews pieces! Peche is close by for a great raw bar and lunch.
Take the ferry from the French Quarter to see one of the oldest and cutest neighborhoods in the city. There are a ton of great restaurants and bars over there such as Barracuda for tacos and Old Point Bar!
We spend a ton of time in City Park, there are so many beautiful spots and nature to enjoy. There is a Cafe Du Monde within the park for beignets and coffee. Also, we got engaged in the Sculpture Garden!
You can do either a self-guided or guided tour visiting the historic homes and cemeteries in the neighborhood. We highly recommend going to Stein's or Yinzer's for lunch. If you're looking for something more fancy, head to Lilette for the gnocchi.
See the most beautiful skyline of New Orleans, especially at sunset. Grab a slice of pizza across the street at Pizza Delicious. Head to Vaughans for a night cap.
