Katie and Anna TECHNICALLY met freshman year at band camp, but we don't talk about that. We really met for the first time on the ND creative writing trek to Ireland—here we are, caught in the rain.

The summer before senior year, Katie came out to visit Anna in California.

Senior year at Notre Dame, Katie learned the baritone to join Anna in hockey band!

We headed off to St. Paul together for four years. Anna taught English, and Katie worked at PLUS.

Anna knew Katie was a keeper when they bought her surprise tickets to go to a Transformers fan convention in Chicago.

Katie and Anna found their love of the Great Minnesotan Get-Together…together.

One of our favorite places to go was the botanical gardens at the Como Zoo in St. Paul. At least, in the seasons where they weren't closed and covered in snow.

The first time we went to Fernwood was during the Christmas lights show. We also took our save the date photos here in the fall!

We also loved going to Como Lake (you may see a pattern here) in St. Paul.

Our favorite spot at Como Lake was the spit, a big thin strip of land that stuck out in the water. It always looked like we were in the middle of the lake in pictures.

Now we're back in the Bend and both working at Notre Dame!
