We're getting married!

Our story started at a wedding, which feels so special now. My best friend was marrying Kane’s best friend, and Kane was the best man while I was a bridesmaid. Somewhere between all the wedding festivities, celebrations, and little moments in between, we went from standing beside our best friends on their big day to beginning a love story of our own. Since then, our favorite days have been the simple ones spent together. We love going to church, going out to eat, spending time with our families, and enjoying all the little everyday moments that have made our relationship so special. Through every season, we’ve become each other’s best friends, biggest blessings, and the people we can’t wait to do life with. When it came time for the proposal, Kane chose the sweetest and most meaningful place. My parents have been building their new home on the water, and they had just finished the dock. Kane knew how special that spot already was, and he planned to propose there. What felt like a normal day quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. Standing on that dock, surrounded by the water and so much love, he asked me to marry him — and it was perfect. We are so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
