A: You betcha, but keep in mind it is in a rural area so you will need some type of transportation to your hotel!
A: Nope! The whole traditional wedding process will be happening at LBC! The evening celebration is more informal. You won’t miss anything if you only go to the church.
Yes! But if you are unfamiliar with church or Christianity that is okay! We will have a sermon on traditional marriage and we hope Jesus reaches everyone through our wedding! We are building our marriage on the rock of Christ; so that will be the heart of our special day! :)
A: It will begin with the procession and then we will follow with worship and a lesson on marriage! It will be similar to an average church service but wedding style. It will be around an hour! (maximum)
A: It will be more informal and casual. We will serve dinner and have a place to dance. It will be in a grassy space outdoors.
A: Yes! Feel free to come as long or short as you’d like. But also keep in mind the curfew is 12am!
A: For sure! We love kiddos.
A: There will be “charcuterie+” at the formal wedding reception at church, and then there will be a meal at the evening celebration.
A: Great question! We will not have an open bar at either the reception or the celebration. Alcohol is not allowed in church! For the evening celebration guests are allowed to bring their own drinks. Limited drinks will be provided but not in the form of an open bar. This philosophy comes from the biblical call to not pursue drunkenness (Eph. 5:18).
A: The ceremony and formal reception will be indoors in the church but the pictures will be an indoor/outdoor flow. The wedding celebration will be outdoors. IF the weather does not agree with that, there will be options for roofs, but for now let's just pray for good weather. :)
A: Bridesmaids will be wearing a light pastel pink, the groom will be in dark green, and groomsmen will be in black!
A: Semi-formal!
A: Wow, what a question! Only in Jesus! (John 14:6, John 10:10, Psalm 16:11, Matthew 6:25-33, the entire Bible)
