We met at a local bar in Boone, NC in early 2018. After many traveling adventures, a number of great concerts, a pandemic and new parenthood, we knew that living our lives together was what we were meant to do. It was overlooking a waterfall in the Pacific Northwest that J.R. surprised Anna with his grandmothers ring and a proposal. We eloped quietly in December 2021 in Boone at the home of our dearest friends on their 42nd wedding anniversary. We are excited to celebrate our union with friends and family in a town that is near and dear to our hearts.
