Places to stay! We want everyone to enjoy their time at our wedding as we plan to have dancing/music until 11:00pm. So you feel comfortable driving that late at night, we recommend staying on Beech Mountain if possible and not down the mountain in Banner Elk or Sugar Mountain. The drive up/down the mountain (Beech Mountain Parkway) can be intimidating as it is very steep. There are no hotels on Beech Mountain, so we recommend getting a group together and renting a fun mountain getaway, ski chalet, or cabin. There is a hotel option in Banner Elk listed below. Mention you are going to a wedding at THE OVERLOOK BARN, as some places give DISCOUNTS!
