We met the new classic way—online. For John, it was instant adoration. Anna embodied everything he had dreamed of: Christian, charming, confident, poised, elegant, joyful, whimsical, and beautiful. For Anna, John was calm, attentive, thoughtful, earnest, genuine, and handsome—with just the right amount of nervousness to be endearing. Before agreeing to a first date, Anna insisted on a phone call—a gesture that John found lovely, as it reflected her confidence and self-assurance. That call went so well that they immediately planned their first date: a Sporting Kansas City soccer match the very next night. Sparks flew, and from that moment on, they never looked back. They spent every moment they could together—getting to know each other, meeting friends and family, and falling in love quickly and deeply. When John left for a month-long trip to the Northern Wilderness of Minnesota and Canada, their bond only grew stronger. Anna had written him heartfelt letters to open at key moments on his journey, and those words of love and encouragement made the distance not only bearable, but meaningful. Throughout the summer and early fall, they continued traveling, growing closer, and dreaming about the future and talking seriously about joining their lives. One quiet evening, after painting furniture and sharing heartfelt conversation, John felt God urging him to take the next step. While Anna sat on the couch, John got down on one knee and poured out his heart. She graciously and joyfully said yes! From that moment on, all energy turned toward planning a wedding—quickly! What was originally a joint Berman/Graham Thanksgiving gathering became something much bigger: a full-blown celebration of love and commitment. The compressed timeline brought its own challenges, but both Anna and John were no strangers to tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. With faith, teamwork, and love, everything began to fall into place. As we prepare to celebrate this holy and joyful day, we remain committed to living with God and showing his Love to each other. We are so grateful to share this moment with you and hope you have a wonderful time with us—on Saturday and in the years to come. Thank you for being part of our story. Love, John and Anna
