The Wedding Website of Anna Abele and Jay Anderson
Question

How do we get there?

Answer

Parking and shuttle instructions: Our Private Parking lot: 550 Blumont St, Laguna Beach (No restrooms on site) Shuttled transportation will be provided from the parking lot to Picnic Beach from 9am-9:45am. After this time guests can still park in lot, but shuttle transportation will not be available. Please look for the White Shuttle with "Occasions" Logo on the corner of Legion Street and Short Street (look for “Trolley Stop” sign). How to find the ceremony: At the drop off site, walk south down the pathway (if you’re facing the ocean, go left) towards park area and continue down ramp onto Picnic beach. Ceremony area will be straight ahead at the end of the south side of the beach. Look for our welcome signs 😊 (Public restrooms on site) After the ceremony, shuttles will again be available for transport from the beach to the reception at the same trolley sign/drop off area from 10:30am-11:15am. Wedding Reception site is located ocean side at Legion St. and Pacitic Coast Highway at the Laguna Village Arts and Flowers: The Cliff Restaurant 577 S. Pacific Coast Highway. (Public restrooms on site) Please arrive early to ensure adequate time for morning Laguna Beach traffic delays and Shuttle boarding, as the ceremony will start promptly at 10am. Travel time from the lot to the beach is ~10minutes. Shuttles will be running to parking lot from 2:30-3:15pm, or as needed between 11am-2:30pm. If you would like to walk, from The Cliff to the parking lot is 3 blocks (~8min).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Beachy casual - linens and cottons are best for breathability! We are requesting avoiding bright/vivid colors and would prefer a muted pastel or neutral color palette (see examples: https://www.etsy.com/listing/871612106/muted-pastels-procreate-colour-palette) - We are not allowed to have chairs on the beach, so please wear something comfortable for sitting on provided beach blankets. We also recommend shoes that are easy to slip off for walking on the sand. - Examples for men: collared shirt, short or long sleeves, tailored shorts, linen pants, chinos, khakis, loafers, boat shoes, dress sandals, etc. Optional blazers/casual suit jackets. - Examples for women: sundresses, maxi dresses, skirt, elevated romper or jumpsuit, informal cocktail dress, dress sandals, heels, flats, etc.

Question

We’re sitting in the sand?

Answer

Yes! Unfortunately, the city of Laguna does not allow us to set up chairs or benches, so we will be providing an array of beach blankets for seating. Parasols for shade will also be available. There is an exception for guests with mobility or medical concerns, so please let us know if you will need a chair.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend a 9-9:15am arrival to allow for time to catch the shuttle. Shuttles will run from 9-9:45am and the shuttle ride will take approximately 10 minutes from the lot to the beach.

Question

Time Capsule Info

Answer

We welcome our guests to contribute a memory with us, individually or as a couple, in any way that is meaningful to you! Examples include: notes, stories, photos, childhood memorabilia, ticket stubs, music, recipes, art, or any other special memories.
