We’re getting married!

Our story isn't typical, but that's what makes it so special. They say when you meet the one everything just feels "right." The moment I met Anna, I had that feeling for the first time in my life. I tried to be cool and confident and not act like I was already planning a future after the first date, but deep down I knew that this was the person I was going to spend my life with. Lucky for me, Anna felt the same way. The day after our first date, Anna's friends from California, Anne and DJ, flew in to visit and she invited me to come hang out with the three of them. Then the day after that, I ended up meeting her family at a film festival. Normally you would probably wait a little while before meeting friends let alone family, but there was nothing weird about. Again, it just felt right. Anna and I compliment each other and really love the differences we have. We support each other's success and never have to question that we have each other's back. Our journey wasn't just about falling in love though, it also included blending our families together. Even that part immediately felt "right." We love each other's kids like their our own, and the kids had a connection from the start. Lena and Katelyn have their adventures together or get ready in the morning together for school. Jeremy comes to visit and Lena just becomes his little sidekick. Anna loves my children like her own and supports them in ways that even I can't. I get the honor of helping raise Lena like my own and I love every minute of it. We have our own relationship and like Anna says have our own "wreckless adventures." Go-karts, hoover boards, building trees houses, or ultimate snowball fights. Our life has become this amazing, fun and fulfilling adventure surrounded by the people we love the most. On our special day, we want it to be exactly like our life. Beautiful, fun, and surrounded by the most important people in our lives.
