Another highly suggested lake town, again only 20 minutes from Watervliet. Jason and Anna recommend walking along the beach and little shops then grabbing the BEST pizza at Silver Beach Pizza. (You'll probably catch the newlyweds there Sunday enjoying Bloody Mary schooners)
New Buffalo
New Buffalo, MI 49117
A little farther from Watervliet, about 30 minutes but worth the drive! New Buffalo is where Anna grew up vacationing and what made her family fall in love with Michigan to then eventually move to the state! Stray Dog and Oinks are the Renkert family staples!
