Wedding casual. The ceremony will be outside in the fall, weather permitting. Please bring a jacket or sweater just in case!

Children are welcome! Be sure to indicate on your RSVP how many will be attending. We totally understand if parent's want a date night out, though!
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
Ironwood on the Vermillion is an old nursery. Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the clearing, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to on grass briefly to take their seats for the ceremony. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
If you are driving yourself to the venue, please arrive between 3:15-3:45. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. If you are taking the shuttle from the hotel - shuttle service will begin at 3:00pm. There will be multiple trips to transport guests.

We've reserved room blocks at La Quinta and Hampton Inn & Suites in Peru, IL—you'll find all the details in our Travel tab. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred accommodations. Complimentary shuttle service will run between the hotel and our venue, and since both hotels are within walking distance of each other, you'll have convenient access to the shuttle regardless of where you stay.
Yes and yes. Ironwood on the Vermillion has plenty of designated parking for guests. Overnight is also allowed.
Absolutely. We want all our guests to have fun and travel safely. We have arranged a shuttle bus from the La Quinta and Hamption Inn parking lot in Peru - to and from the venue. Check back soon for the bus schedule times.
Sure! Just be mindful of our photographer. We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony while they capture the magic.
