Anna is a future elementary/early childhood Lutheran educator at Concordia University Wisconsin. Her dream is to teach Kindergarten. Her passion is to spread the truth of the Gospel to her future students. She is also a Disney Parks fanatic. Her favorite things at the parks are the Carousel of Progress and Spaceship Earth. She also loves to sew, bake, and decorating ice cream cakes at her parent's Dairy Queen.
Jaden Marker
Groom
Jaden is an Applied Theology major with a Theological languages at Concordia University Wisconsin. He is just a small town guy who moved into heart of the suburbs. Jaden was born and raised in Oklahoma, but lately, he has been adopting a Midwest accent. He loves dogs, BBQ, cowboy boots, and Lutheran Theology. He gives credit to his grandparents (Bill and Tyrea Marker) for raising him up in the faith. This pre-seminarian will do anything to put a smile on your face! Just be warned, he is allergic to dairy. So, be warned!
Alyssa Geer
Maid of Honor
Alyssa will be a “super senior” at the University of Detroit Mercy in the Fall. She has been friends with Anna ever since the beginning of high school. Alyssa has been there for Anna, through the good and the bad. She has a passion for all things nursing and any way she can get involved in the medical field. She also loves traveling, baking, and most importantly her deep love for Jesus!
Jon Marker
Best Man
Jon has been Jaden's brother since the day Jon was born. He says his life has been miserable for the past 20 years just because of being related to Jaden. Fun fact, Jon has actually built his own laptop. Besides working at Walmart, Jon enjoys playing video games and being harassed by his grandfather Bill. He is so happy that Jaden found a girl like Anna to "mellow out the crazy." Maybe there is finally a sane person in the Marker family besides himself.
Rica Shelton
Bridesmaid
Also known as Robyn, Rice, Richard, Ricotta, and many more(a couple of these nicknames were gifted by Jaden). Rica can often be seen hunched over a sewing machine for her latest project or singing show tunes for karaoke. If she is wearing anything less than a skirt, layers of necklaces, and some kind of hat or elf ears, please make sure she is feeling well! She and Anna met in high school, but they became friends at college when they took Geology together. Yes, there were many rock jokes made throughout the semester.
Jacob Schroeder
Groomsman
Jacob is Anna's "little" brother. This eccentric guy can be found singing showtunes while fixing plumbing, to quoting movie lines while doing his favorite hobby, smoking meat. Jacob is going into elementary Lutheran education at Concordia University Chicago. His favorite thing to do is to volunteer at his church because he loves to serve his Lord. He is also a lover of anything Disney. From the classic movies to the parks, he loves it all. His favorite movie is Dumbo.
Isabella Brown
Flower Girl
Izzy is a 3.5 year old. She is a loud, fun-loving, dancing and singing kiddo. She enjoys the park! Mainly the swings and enjoys the swimming pool, and jumping on her mini trampoline. She is a Disney loving princess just like the beautiful bride! She has been to the Disney parks twice now in the short time she’s been on earth! Her favorite movie at the time is Disney’s Tangled but that changes but it’s always something Disney.
