What should I wear?

Answer

Plan to dress semi-formal! Take it as an excuse to get dressed up, but we still want you to feel comfortable and ready to dance. :) Think suit with option to wear a tie, midi dress, cute pant suit, etc.!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For the ceremony, please arrive 20-30 minutes in advance to have enough time to be seated before the ceremony starts. If you are late, we still want you to join us! Please just be mindful of entering the ceremony space quietly and avoid walking down the aisle at the same time as the bride and groom. :) For the reception, we plan on joining our guests for cocktail hour and would love to see you there!

Should I drive or take an Uber/Lyft?

Answer

Up to you! All we ask is that you be responsible. :) Madison has plenty of Ubers/Lyfts, and based on our reception location, we wouldn't anticipate any trouble using one of those apps to book a ride home. If you choose to drive, there will be plenty of parking at the church for our ceremony, with more limited parking at the reception. You could choose to drive to the ceremony, then drop your car off at the hotel and Uber/Lyft to the reception space!

Where should I park?

Answer

The ceremony location has plenty of parking in a big parking lot located in the back of the church. Union South has more limited parking, but options include the parking garage at the Union (entrance location on Dayton St.) or street parking.

Who can I bring with me?

Answer

If your invitation reads, “& Guest”, we would love for you to bring a guest with you! Please include their name on your RSVP response so we can address your guest properly. When you RSVP, there will be a line for each guest / family member in your party.
