Meals at the Ashokan Center

Perhaps a bunkbeds are not your thing, we get it! If you are staying off-site but would like to join us for meals at the Ashokan Center please RSVP to Lisa Hurley at the Ashokan Center, weddings@ashokancenter.org. The cost is $80 per person. Meals guests can join us for are the friday night BBQ, Saturday brunch, and Sunday brunch.

Friday Night Dinner

6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

If staying for the weekend or just Saturday night meals are included in the cost of lodging. If you are staying off-site, but would like to join us for Friday dinner, Saturday brunch, and Sunday brunch please call Lisa Hurley at the Ashokan center to make reservations (cost is approximately $80 for 3 meals and alcohol).

Blacksmithing, Archery, Guided Hike!

9:30am - Guided hike through the gorge. Walk over the covered bridge and back in time as you explore the secluded gorge and visit a lovely waterfall. 11:30am - Archery - channel your inner Katniss Everdeen and practice your aim with a bow an arrow. Join an instructor and hone your archery skills. 11:30am- Blacksmithing - try your hand at a classic american craft and forge your own heart trivet, fire poker, or plant hanger! 1:30pm- Archery (second session) 1:30pm - Blacksmithing (second session)

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

4:30 pm

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Please be aware the ceremony is in a field and you will be walking on grass and on dirt roads. high heels are not recommended!

The ceremony site is roughly a 10 minute walk from the parking area and main buildings- please plan accordingly!

Saturday overnight at the Ashokan Center

6:00 pm

Don't worry about driving after the big celebration, stay the night in the bunkhouse! Join us for the ceremony, stay the night in the bunkhouse, and join us on Sunday morning for brunch. The cost is $95 per person. This can be booked with Lisa Hurley at the Ashokan Center (weddings@ashokancenter.org). Lodging at the bunkhouse and Sunday morning brunch is included.
