What will wedding day look like?

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Below is the general timeline for the day. Guests are asked to arrive to South Village Beach, Dennis Port, M.A. at 2:30PM, as there will be photos/videos taking place before the ceremony. This will help ensure everyone is present and ready before the festivities begin. The address for South Village Beach is: Baker Way, Dennis Port, MA 02639. The ceremony will take place at South Village Beach and will promptly begin at 3:00 PM. Following the ceremony, we will take additional photos on the beach before heading to The Ocean House for the reception dinner. We will be seated for dinner at The Ocean House around 4:00PM with service starting soon thereafter around 5:00–5:30PM. We’ll celebrate together with great food, drinks, and beautiful waterfront views. After dinner, there are no additional scheduled events. The bride and groom are planning to enjoy a relaxing evening and hope to end the night with s’mores and a small fire at their Airbnb. Anyone who would like to join is welcome to stop by and spend some relaxing time by the fire! **DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.**

What is the attire for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
For the ceremony and reception, think beach formal or coastal cocktail. The bride will be wearing an elegant, beach-inspired gown, and the groom will be in a tux with a coastal feel. Guests are encouraged to dress up while keeping the beach setting in mind – flowy dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, linen suits, lightweight blazers, or dress shirts with slacks are all wonderful choices. September evenings on the Cape can be breezy and cool, so a shawl, wrap, or jacket is recommended. Since the ceremony will be on the sand, consider footwear that is comfortable for walking on the beach.

Where should I stay?
Answer
There is no right answer. Cape Cod has a wide range of hotels and inns along the shore or more inland. While there are some recommendations in the "Accommodations" page, do not feel tied to those options! You can stay wherever you're comfortable. Remember, September is still wedding season in Cape Cod, therefore, accommodations may fill up quickly.

What is The Ocean House?

Named as one of the 2023 Top 100 Most Scenic Restaurants by OpenTable, Cape Cod Time’s 2023 Community Choice for Fine Dining, Best Waterfront Restaurant and Most Romantic Restaurant, The Ocean House is a contemporary restaurant located on the coast of Dennis, Cape Cod. Known for impeccably crafted cuisine and cocktails, they only serve the finest ingredients, from locally sourced seafood to organically farmed ingredients. For dinner, there will be a three course plated meal. The menu will be centered around a surf and turf style dinner so that there is a little something for everyone.

What is the rain plan?
Answer
If there is a light sprinkle on the day of, the ceremony will still take place at South Village Beach. Therefore, to be prepared, please bring an umbrella and rain gear. However, if there is more inclement weather such as heavy rain and wind, the ceremony location will likely change. Anna and Hunter are currently working to obtain the proper permits to rent a gazebo in a town close to Dennis Port. More details to follow.
