Things To Do

The Square

The Oxford Square is famous for its good food and good shopping. Walk around! Have some fun!

Square Books

160 Courthouse Square, Oxford, MS 38655

This is one of our absolute favorite places in Oxford. Also check out: Off Square Books, Square Books Jr., and Rare Square Books! Support our independent bookstore!

Big Bad Breakfast

719 North Lamar Boulevard, Oxford, MS 38655

This is the original Big Bad Breakfast, and definitely the best one. They do not take reservations, but it's worth any wait.

Bottletree Bakery

923 Van Buren Avenue, Oxford, MS 38655

This is a fantastic bakery, and just around the corner from the church where we will get married!

The University of Mississippi

Take a walk or a drive around. It's beautiful!!

Rowan Oak

916 Old Taylor Road, Oxford, MS 38655

Rowan Oak is the historic home and museum of Nobel Prize winning author, William Faulkner. It is also where Anna interned for a summer during college. If you want a hike in the cold, there is a trail that connects Rowan Oak to the University Museum called Bailey's Woods.

Ajax Diner

118 Courthouse Square, Oxford, MS 38655

If you are thinking that you should eat some Southern food since you are in the South, then this is where you should go.

Oxford Treehouse Gallery

328 County Road 418, Oxford, MS 38655

A beautiful and cozy art gallery!

For all the days along the way
