We’re getting married!

Hayden and Anna met at a backyard prom organized by someone in their stake after both the LDS prom and school prom were canceled due to COVID. Hayden attended with a close friend of Anna’s, while Anna’s original date canceled about a week before the event. When they arrived, Anna sat with her brother and a close friend since she didn’t have a date. She and her friend started talking about video games, which happened to be one of Hayden’s interests. The two of them ended up talking all night and even shared the first slow dance together while Hayden’s date was in the bathroom. The next morning, in a classic "dumb boy" moment, Hayden asked his date for Anna’s number. She didn’t mind and gave it to him, and from that moment on, Anna and Hayden have been texting ever since. About two weeks later, they went on their first date with Hayden’s cousin and her boyfriend. During the date, Hayden dropped his entire soda while trying to pick up a quarter—a moment of silliness and humor that was exactly what Anna loved. They started dating soon after, and the rest is history!
