We can’t wait to celebrate!

We have a lot to be thankful for and although we would love to live on a farm in the middle of no where without a neighbor in sight, for now, we will settle for the Alexandria city life. It all started with a Mexican dinner date at Rangos. Naturally, being nervous for a first date, took a look at the menu beforehand so it was one less thing to worry about. We started out with margaritas and beers, but since I never looked at the menu (since I already knew what I wanted), every time the server came to take our order, George asked for a few more minutes to decide what we were going to order. We talked and laughed, and I asked a lot of questions, until the restaurant closed and we went home without ever ordering dinner. The night went great and George being the gentleman that he is, walked me back to my "summer car". For those who know me, know I would drive the family Mercedes convertible during the summer, thus calling it "my summer car". Embarrassed about what George would think, I told him that it was just my summer car, not thinking about how that actually sounded. :P I can only imagine what was going through George's mind at the time, but I'm sure he knew he had his hands full. He went home thinking he would never hear from me again, hungry, and tired. I went home thinking about how great the date was, hungry, and worried about working 14 hours the next day. I texted him that night and we planned to see each other that weekend. Since I live close to old town Alexandria, George planned to pick me up and we would have a night out on the town. It just so happened that my under-mount kitchen sink became detached from the counter and George graciously offered to take a look at it. He came over to my house a few days later fixed my sink and the rest is history. The sink is still holding up to this day and I guess you can say that is how strong our love is.
