Flight

Honolulu International Airport

Please reserve your flight tickets to arrive to Honolulu International Airport (HNL). Upon arrival, you may need to walk or use the WikiWiki tram to the terminal where your luggage will await your arrival (Baggage Claim). From Baggage Claim, you will walk to the center island to meet up with your Rental Car Shuttle or Shuttle Transfer to your accommodations on the North Shore. The venue is 90 minutes or more away from the airport. It is on the North Shore of the island of Oahu. Please arrange for transportation. You can rent a car and drive yourselves, or you can arrange for a shuttle. Please do not wait until you arrive to make these arrangements. Uber and Lyft exist on Oahu, but are not in plentiful supply or readily available like on the mainland. Please try to reserve this in advance. Not all drivers will take you to the North Shore. Information about the North Shore of Oahu

The North Shore of Oahu truly feels like you are in Hawaii. It has a different personality from the other areas of the island. Enjoy the fresh shrimp from any of the shrimp trucks (Giovanni's is a favorite). Snorkel Sharks Cove & Turtle Beach , Try The Thrill of Skydiving, Watch the Pros at Banzai Pipeline, stroll Haleiwa Town, Hike to Ka'ena Point, Surf at Chun’s Reef, Body Surf at Waimea Bay, Watch the Sunset at Sunset Beach, enjoy the Polynesian Culture at the Polynesian Cultural Center, Ride a Horse, or Relax Poolside at the Turtle Bay Resort with a refreshing Mai Tai or Pina Colada. Wherever you go, allow enough time to get there. It takes a long time to go a short distance, so allow for traffic and road construction delays. The road on the North Shore is one lane on each side. No one is in a hurry. Markets on the North Shore include Foodland, Safeway, Kahuku Superette, Whaler's General Store, and Tamura's.
