Things To Do
There is a ton to explore in NH and the surrounding states including MA, VT and ME.
1) Hiking! Check out Green mountains, White mountains, Mount Monadnock (download All Trails app, there is a free version available).
2) Fall foliage viewing via different drives including Kancamagus Highway
3) Visit a Maple Factory (a personal favorite is Ben’s Sugar Shack, be sure to try the maple soft serve ice-cream)
4) Breweries and Cideries (Contoocook Cider Company is a personal favorite)
5) Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor in Maine (5 hrs away)
6) Famous town of Salem, MA (they have many ticketed events in October, consider downloading the Salem app and getting tickets ahead of time). MTBA Commuter Rail is the public train to get there.
7) City of Boston! Freedom Trail, JFK Presidential Library and Museum, Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, Fenway Park, Charles River, North End for authentic Italian food (take cash), Cambridge for the beautiful campuses of Harvard and MIT
