Things To Do in SLC
If you have time during your stay, here are a few of our favorite spots around the city—shaped by where we grew up and the places we love most.
Anna’s Side – Poplar Grove/Glendale & Central City
Grab a coffee at Midway Coffee or Azúcar, then head over to my favorite thrift store, the D.I. on 700 S (it’s only my favorite because my family and I are lifetime regulars, haha). When you’re hungry, grab a bagel sandwich from The Dough Miner or tacos from Los Tapatios—two of our go-to local spots.
Ebrahim’s Side – Murray & the Mountains
Start your morning with a protein smoothie from Tenet in Sugarhouse or Millcreek Nutrition, then take a drive or hike up Big or Little Cottonwood Canyon—some of our favorite spots include Cecret Lake, Lake Blanche, and Silver Lake. Afterward, if you’re in the mood for pizza, stop by Nomad East.
You can also spend time exploring downtown Salt Lake City or neighborhoods like 9th & 9th for great restaurants, shopping, and a feel for the local scene.
