Where is the venue?
Answer
The venue is the Darby House and the address is 801 Darby Creek Drive, Galloway, OH. 43119. The address will take you to a large gate where an attendant will direct you to the ceremony.
Question
What time does the ceremony start?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:00p sharp. We ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive between 3:30-3:45pm as it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until after cocktail hour to enter.

Can cars stay over night at the venue?
Answer
Unfortunately, the venue does not allow over night parking.

Is this a kid friendly wedding?
Answer
We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up with us for the big day. The dress code is formal. Ladies can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear suits with ties. Please no khakis, jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white.

Is there an open bar?
Answer
We will be providing beer and wine, with a cash bar for liquor. Due to the venue's liquor license, shots will not be poured. We ask that you be patient and respectful to our bartenders.

What should I do if I cannot make it?
Answer
You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you RSVP'D "attending", but find that you cannot make it, please notify the bride or groom as soon as possible so we are aware.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony- no phones or camera use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you like.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to your name and "guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
Answer
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride; whites, ivories, and creams.

Where should we stay?
Answer
We recommend booking a hotel in Hilliard or Columbus which is about 10 minutes from the venue! We will not be reserving a hotel block. A few hotels that are recommended by the venue are the Holiday Inn in Hilliard, The Junto in Columbus, the Hilton Columbus, or the Hampton Inn in Hilliard.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

With the wedding being in March, we plan for the ceremony and reception to be indoor.
