We’re Getting Married

We met at Alabama A&M in 2011(i think). We were both in University Echoes as Student Ambassadors. We conversed from time to time but it wasnt until years later when Darius admitted he had a crush on me. Darius contacted me in 2014, making small talk. I lived in Tuscaloosa at the time (which is where he was from) so he offered to come to town to take me on a date. Well, that never happened and we slowly stopped talking. No hard feelings though. Then Darius reached out again in July of 2017, almost immediately asking about my love life. Let’s just say he was super happy to hear I was single and did not hesitate to let that be known. This is when Darius admitted his longtime crush and we’ve been on our journey ever since...

... Once upon a time in Normal, Alabama a freshman baseball player saw a young lady (Anna) on the quad during ESW (Every Sunny Wednesday) if you know you know😂. So I saw her around from time to time and decided to play it cool, even held positions in the same organization together. Started to see her more and more but still played it cool lol (lasted for about 4 years). Finally in 2014 or so, I decided to pimp on into her DM on Instagram and asked for her number, as well as take her on a date next time I was in Tuscaloosa. Well that never happened, I stood her up on several occasions but later explained that I was in a point in my life where she just didn’t belong because we wouldn’t have ever been able to see the version of “US” that we are today. No individual is ever perfect in life but God knew the growth I needed, and that’s what will always make Anna the perfect individual in my life!!!
