We are getting married!

We first met in December of 2016 at a friend's birthday party. Cris had just graduated from Georgia Tech and I was about to head back to school at ABAC, 4 hours away. We talked at dinner some but he was sitting next to a girl that I just assumed was his girlfriend. You know what they say about assuming... I was with the same friend again a week later and she took me to someone's house for a new year's party. Turns out it was Cris' house and again we hit it off talking and hanging out and I learned he didn't have a girlfriend. When Cris was taking a picture of me and my friend, he stuck his number in my phone and texted himself. We went on our first date a couple of days later, but then I had to leave for school 4 hours away. Once at school I tried to push Cris off for a while because I didn't want to start a relationship with someone after one date 4 hours away, but he was a persistent one... as in kept on for a couple of months until I finally gave in when I came home next. The rest is history. We have been together for 7 years and, a question we get a lot is why so long so here are a few things we have accomplished over the last 7 years: - Anna graduated with her associates degree from ABAC - Cris became a Project manager at Southland - Anna graduated from UGA with her bachelor's degree - Anna became a Registered Behavior Therapist - We got our dog, Leroy - Cris started classes for Land surveying - Anna started her master's degree - Cris Became a Professional Engineer - We got our first set of chickens! - Anna Became a BCaBA - Anna became a BCBA - Cris became a Professional Land Surveyor As you can see, we have been a little busy over the past few years, but we wouldn't change it at all and cannot wait to start forever together!
