Wedding Party

Meet our family and close friends who will be by our side on our BIG DAY!

Kiersten Aldrich

Matron of Honor

Kiersten and I met in dance class in 2010 only to realize we went to school together. We joined the competitive team at dance and the rest is history. She has been one of the most supportive, compassionate, "tell it like it is" friends that I have ever had. From vacations, sleepovers, random hangouts, and all the crazy in between. It was a no-brainer to have Kiersten as my Matron of Honor. Kiersten's favorite memory of us is "on the last day of high school when we got to leave early and we spent the whole rest of the day shopping and hanging out with our friends! It was a great day!" (Fun Fact: The above picture is from that day!)

Ryan Baker

Best Man

Ryan and I met in Ms. McAfee's Kindergarten class and have been "brothers" ever since. We have done everything together, from hanging out with each other after school to driving to Firekeepers Casino at 3AM after work. He has truly been a "brother from another mother", so asking him to be my Best Man on the big day was a no-brainer! Ryan's favorite memory of us is "our road trip to Colorado, which included hiking in the mountains, going to a Rockies game, and enjoying the night life in and around Denver."

Morgan Mosser

Maid of Honor

Morgan is my little cousin, who is not so little anymore. She has been with me through it all and is the closest thing I have to a sister. She truly is a "champ" for dealing with all of my teen drama and random tears. From the goofy "burrito dance" to silly tik toks this not so little cousin of mine deserves nothing less than being my Maid of Honor. Morgan's favorite memory of us is "coming over every other weekend gossiping about literally anything that went on that we missed from the last time we saw each other and always ending nights with makeovers."

Jason Pace

Best Man

Jason is one of my "newer" friends (saying that lightly because it has been 6 years). Jason and I met while drumming for Mad Ants Basketball in 2017. Jason quickly became one of my closest friends (thanks to gaming when we weren't drumming). He has always been supportive of my journey as a musician and vice versa. Making the decision to make him Co-Best Man was simple after the kindness (I knew he had) not only to me but to Anna. Jason's favorite memory is "our trip to Indy for Mad Ants, when we sat next to each other and I shared my headphones with you cause I heard some dope drum part in an Architects song and wanted you to hear it, and then we spent the rest of the bus ride jamming together."

Rachel Ruble

Bridesmaid

Rachel is a longtime friend, Rachel and I met in preschool at the young age of 3. She has been by my side through the good and the bad. Rachel truly made the biggest impact on my life and made my childhood so unforgettable. So I couldn't imagine her not being by my side on my special day. Rachel's favorite memory of ours is "all the plays we made your poor parents watch!"

Andrew Arnott

Groomsman

Andrew and I met in 2014 while participating in WGI Indoor Percussion with Northcoast Academy. While it's not a "since childhood" type of friendship it definitely feels like one. From the insane amount of traveling to competitions to the long nights and countless hours of rehearsals, we created an unbreakable friendship (even though he almost broke my Cruze). Not having him by my side on my big day just didn't seem right. Andrew says he has a ton of memories that are his favorite but one of the many is "going onto the finals floor together in 2014!"

Hayley Myers

Bridesmaid

Hayley is one of my "newest" friends, I say this lightly since we met 7 years ago in college. From venting about the daily drama and watching each other go through some very high, highs to the lowest of lows. Asking her to be a part of my big day truly was the easiest thing to do. She's one of the kindest and sweetest souls I've ever met. Hayley's favorite memory of us is "when we went to that other Olive Garden in Elkhart when we both worked at the one in Fort Wayne and then took a wrong turn and ended up in Michigan instead."

Drew Lewicki

Groomsman

As with Andrew, I also met Drew while participating in WGI Indoor Percussion with Northcoast Academy in 2015. Drew is like an "Andrew 2.0" (but is on-time and not as forgetful). Constant traveling to competitions, countless hours of rehearsals, and gaming on those off days made for a pretty unforgettable friendship. I of course need someone quoting Spongebob while getting ready for the big day! Drew's favorite memory is "not one specific memory but I think that overall the times at coast 2015 when we would spend the entire weekend drumming, eating like kings, and laughing so hard."

Melissa Bryan

Bridesmaid

Melissa and I became friends shortly after she graduated from the color guard program I directed. Her first memory of how we met is "you walking into the gym at heritage in 2015 and you taking one look at me and going “you’re bendy". I met her when I was 18 and she was just shy of 16 years old. She was a spunky teen with a lot of "tude" and truly became my most blunt and honest friend with a heart of gold. Having her as a bridesmaid is truly a no-questions asked type of deal. (Fun Fact: Melissa's adorable daughter Lexy is our flower girl!)

Kevin Marlow

Groomsman

Kevin and I met at DeKalb HS for indoor percussion in 2014, although we worked together, Kevin went a step further to hire me to be a part of Mad Ants Drumline (now non-existent (RIP)). Our favorite memory is from 2017, when I was driving down the road Kevin and I carpooled to ISSMA State Finals and we had to leave finals early due to a Mad Ants Game. Kevin received a call that DeKalb had medaled in third (aka bronze) and he proceeded to slap my arm out of excitement while I was still driving down I-75. Kevin has always been a solid rock when I need one. And we’re beyond grateful to have him as a part of our day!

Abbey Shull

Bridesmaid

Abbey is Colin's sister, and while I lost my sister at a young age. Abbey and Erin have both been amazing to me from the start. Abbey is a fun-loving and kindhearted soul and I am so excited she gets to partake in this day with not only myself but her little brother.

Connor Heminger

Groomsman

Connor is my cousin, and for lack of better words we were the rambunctious and LOUD drummers during family events (Thanks to Connor's dad). So of course that created a bond between us! Asking him to be a part of the big day was obvious. Connor's says "he has so many memories that it's hard to pick just one, but one thing that stands out to me is the first couple times I saw you perform with the Dekalb's winter drumline. Even though we are only a few years apart it really stuck out to me and ended up being a passion that we both shared. I always enjoyed seeing you perform especially with NorthCoast at WGI. I always made my friends stay to watch from up in the stands. Even though we weren't necessarily together making those memories, it left a huge impact on me to be able to see you do something you love so much at the highest level, and it inspires me even today."

Erin Shull

Bridesmaid

Erin like Abbey is Colin's sister. She has a spunky spirit with a love for fun. When I first met her it's like we simply "clicked". Growing up without a sister was tough BUT both Abbey and Erin have made the best sister in laws a girl could ask for.

Zach Shutt

Groomsman

Like Ryan, Zach and I also met in Kindergarten and our bond grew stronger as the years went by. From some tragic moments to ALL of the hockey games, Zach has been someone I know I can count on (when he's not sleeping haha). Including him on the big day was just a given. Zach's favorite memory is "going to all the Komets games in Fort Wayne and even went to a few different cities. It was always a good time watching hockey with Colin and meeting new people along the way. The beers in Toledo at the hole in the wall bar was a great time!"

For all the days along the way
