FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We’ve changed locations! The wedding will take place on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at Medicine Horse in Boulder, Colorado. 7663 E County Line Rd., Longmont, CO, 80504. Please arrive by 6:00 PM — the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, followed by the reception at the same location. Please Note: If you’re using Apple Maps for directions, be sure to enter the full street address of Medicine Horse—not just the name. Searching “Medicine Horse” may direct you to the old location. Using the exact address will get you to the right place!

Question

Why does CJ have a different last name on the invitation/website?

Answer

Great question! CJ is in the process of changing his last name to Casperin, which is the name we’ll be sharing together after the wedding. You might still see his former last name, Cochran, pop up here and there—but going forward, we’ll be the Casperins! 💛

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re keeping things relaxed! Our wedding will be at Medicine Horse, a charming barn located in Longmont, CO (Anna works here!). Think casual, comfortable clothing—sundresses, nice jeans or slacks. Flats, sandals, or comfy shoes are a must since the barn has a dirt floor and uneven ground, and we’ll be outside and inside the barn the whole time. It can also get chilly once the sun goes down, so bring a jacket or sweater just in case. Come as you are—we’re just excited to celebrate with you! The barn and main event areas are ADA accessible.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 6:00 PM to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat before the ceremony begins.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Please park in front of the main red barn at Medicine Horse. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the indoor arena nearby. If you need to pull up close to the arena to drop off guests, that’s totally okay!

Question

Are there restrooms available?

Answer

Yes! An ADA accessible bathroom is located inside the main red barn for your convenience.

Question

Animals on the Property

Answer

Please do not touch the animals or wander around the property during the event. This helps keep everyone safe and respects the horses’ space.

Question

What is a handfasting ceremony?

Answer

A handfasting ceremony is an ancient tradition where a couple’s hands are bound together with a cord or ribbon, symbolizing their union. It’s a meaningful ritual that represents our commitment to each other. We’re excited to share this special moment with you!
