A popular downtown area full of restaurants, bars and art galleries. We love getting pasta and wine at Marcella's or pizza from Donatos (literally our favorite pizza place). Some of the cities best breweries are also located in and around here, including BrewDog, North High Brewing, and Seventh Son Brewing. This is a great place to be if you are interested in the night life of Columbus!
Located in the Arena District, the original North Market is Columbus' oldest remaining public market. The indoor space is home to 40 local Ohio vendors, allowing you to sample some of the best of what the city has to offer! Some of our favorites are Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, Hoyo's Kitchen, and Destination Donuts.
A beautiful horticulture space perfect for all ages. Provides nature based exhibits, educational opportunities, and exotic plant life. The gardens also include a large collection of glass artworks by Dale Chihuly.
A sprawling series of downtown parkland ready to be explored! There are several connected parks and trails allowing you to walk along the Scioto River and take in views of the city skyline. Check out the Scioto Audubon Metro Park for one of our favorite views, and end the day with a cocktail at Milestone 229 overlooking the water.
Less than half a mile from the Church of the Resurrection you will find yourself on Market Street in New Albany. This area has several restaurants and coffee shops and is a perfect option if you are wanting a quick stop between the Ceremony and Reception. Hudson 29 has a great menu and is part of a collection of well known Columbus restaurants, Mellow Mushroom has excellent vegan pizza options, and Fox in the Snow Cafe is perfect if you are looking for caffeine and pastries.
Large indoor/outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants. You'll find everything from the biggest national chains to local options worth checking out. You can find Ohio based Graeter's Ice Cream in the center of the mall, try their famous Black Raspberry Chip!
This new development northwest of downtown in the suburb of Dublin has fun restaurants, shopping, and walkable space for you to check out if you are passing through on your way in or out of the city. Highly recommend PINS for drinks and games. This is also the home of the latest North Market location if you can’t get to the one downtown!
