Mount Princeton Hot Springs is about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive (125 miles) southwest of Denver International Airport (DIA). Here's how to get there: 🚗 By Car (Recommended) The easiest way to reach the resort is by renting a car and driving from DIA. Our wedding weekend takes place in the beautiful Colorado mountains at Mount Princeton Hot Springs, from September 13–15, 2025. Here’s what you can expect: 📍 Weather in Mid-September Daytime: Usually mild and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F (18–24°C) Evening/Night: Chilly! Temps often drop to 35–45°F (1–7°C) after sunset Chance of Showers: Occasional afternoon rain showers are possible, so a light jacket or umbrella is a good idea 🧳 What to Pack Layers! Think sweaters, light jackets, and warm wraps for the evenings Sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes for walking around the resort A swimsuit — there are natural hot springs on-site! Wedding-appropriate attire that works for both warm afternoons and cooler evenings The venue is at elevation ~8,200 feet, so if you’re coming from lower altitudes, drink plenty of water and take it easy the first day or two.
At Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, you can enjoy the hot springs daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, year-round. This includes the Soaking Pool, Exercise Pool, and Creekside Hot Springs—each offering a unique experience Rooms will grant you full access to all hot springs from check in day to check out day (all day available) If you aren't staying the night, no worries At Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, day pass prices vary depending on the day of the week: Monday–Thursday: $40 for adults; $35 for children and seniors Friday–Sunday: $45 for adults; $35 for children and seniors
