Hyderabad in November is the ideal temperature. Warm sun in during the days and a cool breeze at night. Think a Michigan summer, minus the humidity. Keep in mind the city is a bit dusty so whites may not stay too white. Personally I stick to cotton and linen fabric. But pack what you love! Remember.... the shopping here is fun.... so don't overpack! You might want the space on the way home. Ladies- Stay away from shorts........ you'll be the only one wearing them.
Up to you! You are most likely coming from the other side of the planet, so a night or two adjusting might be helpful. The official wedding fun begins on Wednesday the 6th. So I would recommend soaking up all the fun and getting here in time for the festivities! If you are curious to explore India, Ashwin and I would be beyond thrilled to show everyone around our city! Ancient Forts, bustling markets, huge shopping malls and more! One thing in particular I think everyone would enjoy is a morning in service with the local congregation!
India loves color and sparkle! So lavish in the opportunity to feel bright and beautiful. The whole wedding will be a mix of western wear and traditional Indian clothing. If you are interested in wearing a traditional dress, I or my Mother in Law to be would love to help you enjoy the beauty of Indian fabrics and styles. But if your comfort lays in wearing western attire, you will look stunning!
