Highway 542 to Artist Point
A magical drive to a beautiful lookout that gives you a true taste of the Pacific Northwest without having to hike. If you want more adventure there are plenty of trails you can take near the lookout. We recommend checking in with the Forest Service to get the best information on trails that day.
Lake Whatcom Park
A nice trailhead out past Sally & Paul's at the end of the road. You can enjoy walking along the lake or take one of the few trails that go up the hill to get a better view. Be sure to check your route on the trail maps prior to embarking!
Whatcom Falls Park
A series of walking paths that wind through a forest with multiple waterfalls and a swimming hole.
Breweries
Bellingham is the place for breweries! A few of our favorites: Aslan, Wander, Structures, Gruff and Schweinhaus.
Cafes
The rain in Bellingham makes for a great cafe/breakfast/brunch/ scene. Some standouts: Avenue Bread, Banter, Old Town and Bagelry.
