This is the closest major airport to Monterey - just over a one hour drive. We recommend renting a car or taking an airport shuttle to Monterey (see below).

San Francisco International Airport
If San Jose doesn't have the flight options you need, SFO likely will! Just under a two hour drive to Monterey. SFO also has shuttle service to downtown Monterey.

Transportation to Monterey
Groome offers shuttle service from both SFO and San Jose airports to downtown Monterey. We highly recommend this option for anyone who doesn’t want to rent a car! Events within Monterey are walkable and Ubers are available in town.

Casa Munras is a great hotel walkable to downtown Old Monterey and our ceremony & reception venue. The Pickrells used to stay here for family vacations and highly recommend it!
