Colleen and Anna both attended UMass Amherst together but they actually didn't meet there! They met in Amsterdam through a mutual friend when Colleen was studying abroad in Europe. Over the years, they’ve shared countless adventures, including EDM concerts, snowboarding trips, and being foodies together. Anna can always count on Colleen to pick up the phone for a chat when she needs to vent about her day. Beyond just being best friends, Anna sees Colleen as the sister she never had — someone who understands her inside and out, who’s always there with a listening ear and a perfect piece of advice. Anna is thrilled to have her best friend stand beside her as the Maid of Honor on this special day!

Matthew Nguyen

Best Man

Met this best man while attending dental school. Matt and Albert instantly made a connection due to their love of cinema and especially that of Lord of the Rings. There are not many people who can recite the lines of that trilogy word for word but this man and Albert can pretty much do the whole lore together. Albert and Matt have many shared interests and have already shared many great experiences that Matt knows Albert pretty well. The effort that Matt puts on to keep people happy and entertained at every event, makes one want to be around him at all times. Albert couldn't think of a better person to be the hype-man for his wedding other than Matt and knows that he will be the hype-man in Albert and Anna's lives forever.

Anne-Marie Vu

Anna and Anne-Marie first crossed paths at Tufts Dental School. Their bond grew stronger when they both pursued to be pediatric dentists and then soon after they even worked together at the same dental office! All girls have a "If you buy it, I'll buy it" and Anne-Marie is that friend to Anna. Whether it's sending each other silly clothing, make up or purses to talking about dental cases, Anna can always count on Anne-Marie's advice and support.

Stevie, as Albert likes to call him, is a man who is pretty much on the same frequency as him. His work ethic and mindset are very much like Albert's, even though Stevie may be more inclined to do research and delve further into certain subjects. Through their four years in dental school, they connected by making memorable experiences via studying together in the library for endless hours and partying it up at raves. Albert and Anna couldn't be more than happy to have Stevie in their lives and it is only fitting that they share this special occasion with him to add to their memories.

Kimyen Nguyen

Anna met Kimyen in the hallways of Tufts Dental School. Interestingly, Kimyen actually met Albert before she met Anna, at the dental school gym — a place Anna didn’t frequent. Kim and Anna quickly formed a strong bond when Kim invited Anna to numerous get-togethers. Anna considers Kim the older sister she never had, introducing her to a wonderful group of friends she will forever be grateful for, as well as offering countless pieces of valuable advice. Over the years, they’ve taken many trips together, from exploring Yosemite in California to thrilling ski trips in the mountains. Many more memories are yet to be made!

Justin has always felt like the younger brother that Albert never had. He is always willing to go on fun adventures and tag along to impromptu EDM concerts. Despite his younger age, he is quite mature and is a very dependable friend. You can always count on Justin to give sage advice on both life and dentistry. Whether it be going on ski trips, concerts, or trying new foods in Boston, Albert and Anna know that Justin is always down to have a good time with them.

Annie Nguyen

Annie otherwise known as 'Bubba Smalls' or Kimyen's Sister. Anna has a very specific love language — and that language is definitely not physical touch. In fact, Annie quickly learned that the best way to show love and support for her friend is with no hugs, and absolutely no dramatic displays of affection. Instead, it’s all about thoughtful words, shared snacks, and offering her a comfortable space to be herself. Anna can always count on Annie to give her the unfiltered advice.

Kevin Truong

Kevin is a friend who should've been a friend long ago. Albert and Kevin's relationship didn't start till later only because he went to a dental school a mile away from Albert at Tufts. The shared interest of doing quality dentistry and trying not to three-putt at the links, have brought Albert and Kevin closely together over the last couple years. His light hearted character and sincere personality, makes Kevin a very likable friend who you want to keep around. Anna and Albert know that Kevin will always bring joy to their long enduring friendship.

Lillian Nguyen

Lillian is the ultimate "golden retriever" friend- always loyal, full of energy, and ready to offer her full support. Whether it's their shared interest in pediatric dentistry or board games; Anna can always count on a fun time with Lillian. Lillian's the one who’s always there with a big smile and the most infectious enthusiasm. Anna can always count on Lillian to be there for all the big events, especially since Lillian can never have FOMO.

Van Nguyen

Thank you, Lillian, for bringing Van into Albert and Anna's lives. Van is truly a friend who dedicates his time in investing quality time with his friends. For instance, he is willing to drive 2 hours from Western Mass to just hang out for the day with his friends in Boston. Van is not only Albert's number one golf fan but he is always cheering and encouraging him on all aspects of life. Albert knows that this friendship will last a lifetime and that Van will always be there to support him and Anna.

Lindsey and Anna met in college at UMass Amherst! They quickly became friends when they found out they both wanted to be dentists. They navigated the challenges of rigorous courses, lab projects, and exams together, always cheering each other on and providing much-needed support. To no surprise, they both ended in Boston for dental school. Anna can always count on Lindsey to get her Spongebob jokes. Whether it was their shared passion for dentistry or their ability to make each other laugh through the toughest moments, Lindsey has always been by Anna’s side.

If Albert and Anna have a so called "father figure" friend who genuinely cares for the wellbeing of his friends, Matt would be the man. Having gone through the rigors of dental school together, Matt was always there to support Albert and Anna when it was needed. He and his roommates would always provide a great place to relax and chill after long exam blocks. At occasional raves Albert and Matt would go together, Matt would be considerate to check on Albert to make sure he was well hydrated and be the designated driver. Matt is a dependable friend who Albert knows he can always count on.

Anna and Albert are thrilled to have Airy joining them to officiate their wedding ceremony. She has been in their lives since first year of dental school. Experiencing the highs and lows of dental school to their trips to NYC; Anna and Albert wanted to have Airy guide them through this special moment as they exchange vows and begin their new life together.

Sheep couldn’t take time off from her job at the Dorito factory to attend the wedding. Although she can’t be there in person, she’ll be there in spirit, celebrating her pawrents' marriage.
