What is Black Tie attire?

Answer

Black tie attire is a dress code for formal evening events. For men, it consists of a black dinner jacket and matching trousers, a white formal shirt, a black bow tie or alternatively a black long tie, black dress socks, and black formal shoes. No brown, gray, or blue suits. For women, it commonly involves wearing floor-length gowns. Color is welcomed!

Do I have to stay at the resort? Or can I stay at a different resort and come on the wedding day?

Answer

You can choose to stay at a different resort, but you will only be able to come to the Hyatt Ziva, 30 minutes before the ceremony (5pm) and leave immediately after reception. There will be a fee of $165 USD per person that you are responsible to pay. Also, you will have to arrange your own transportation. To receive this wedding pass, you will need to provide Anna & Al with passport number, in order for us to request access to Cap Cana gated community and to the hotel.

What are the steps to booking my stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana?

Go to booking link provided, chose your dates of stay (must be the 3-night minimum of April 10th, 2025-April 13th, 2025). The group booking discount is valid for 3 days before the wedding (April 9th)- and 3 days after the wedding (April 12th). So, you are more than welcome to stay longer if desired. You will enter number of guests and select room type. You will ONLY need a credit card to reserve your room! You will not be charged until 30 days before the wedding. Please do not wait until the last minute as room options will change with availability.

Is the resort all inclusive?

Yes! All-inclusive at a resort means that all or most of your food and beverages, and entertainment are included with the cost of your hotel stay.
