Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, on Saturday there will be a 28-person shuttle bus providing transportation to guests from The Baywatch Resort to Chateau Chantal and back. You are more than welcome to use the shuttle even if you are not staying at The Baywatch Resort. The shuttle will promptly arrive at 2:30pm and depart no later than 2:40pm, with the last shuttle picking guests up at 3:25pm and departing no later than 3:30pm. Due to limited space, please don't wait to take the second shuttle. The Chateau has a beautiful wine tasting room, so even if you're a little early you can enjoy a drink before the ceremony! The shuttle will return to the venue to begin bringing guests back to the hotels at 8:00pm and will be doing rounds until the last shuttle at 10:00pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal! Think mid to full length dresses for the women, and suit jackets (tie/bow tie optional) for the men.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. However, the drive to the venue is along a hilly, curvy road, and we highly recommend using the provided shuttle if possible!

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, please plan accordingly. The ceremony will be on grass. If there is rain, we will move the ceremony indoors.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! We plan on having entree choices to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please make sure to note any restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure we can let our chef know.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will be wrapping up around 10:15pm! For anyone interested, we will continue the party at a local bar afterwards, location to be decided closer to the date.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of the ceremony. It is about a 20-30 minutes drive from downtown Traverse City to the venue.

Are there any colors I should wear?

Answer

Wear any color you want. The wedding will have a floral and pastel theme if you want to match.
