The South Carolina Botanical Garden is a 295-acre garden and located on the Clemson University campus near the wedding venue. There are several beautiful trails to enjoy and easily accessible to the public. The grounds are open and free-of-charge 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset.

This house has over 300 years of history! Hanover House was built in 1716 for French Huguenot Paul de St. Julien in Berkeley County, S.C.. Tours might be postponed due to covid concerns. Call ahead for up to date info.

This is a fun Lakeside waterfront to visit. It opens March 1st, and will be open Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 6pm. Anna enjoyed this spot during her college days and recommends it for a relaxing visit to Lake Hartwell.

This begins as a park for kids with a playground, then becomes a boardwalk with lovely views of the lake, and eventually ends with porch swings for relaxing.

The Clemson Area African American Museum (CAAAM) is located in Calhoun Bridge Center, Clemson. The Museum focuses on historical achievements and culture of African Americans. It serves as a resource center to engage the local and upstate South Carolina communities in intellectual discourse about the past.

This is a fun and interesting museum to visit. The Bob Campbell Geology Museum houses a collection of more than 10,000 minerals, rocks and fossils from locations in South Carolina and across the globe. The BCGM features a wide variety of geological and paleontological exhibits. Please check online before visiting due to changes in open times due to covid concerns.

Glazed is a fun place to paint pottery pieces and is near downtown Clemson. This shop glazes and fires your piece in their on-site kiln. However, please ask the service rep if they can glaze and fire your piece BEFORE YOU LEAVE TOWN. It is open Thursdays & Fridays 11am to 5pm and Saturdays 1 to 5pm.

The Oasis Ranch is an original, one of a kind mini golf course. The grounds include 18 hole mini golf, botanical gardens, water falls, koi ponds, and a cafe. It's only natural for the Oasis to have a greenhouse and an aquaponics system! Here, koi from the course ponds and delicious vegetables grow together in a symbiotic environment! This is a fun and educational place for everyone!

A must visit if you love freshly made ice cream! A Pitman family favorite! The ingredients come daily from the dairy farm managed by Clemson University students! This is located on the Clemson University campus in the Hendrix Center with a visitor parking lot across the street.
