God brought us together through a Speed Dating event that was held at our university as a fund raiser for our Bible Conference. My society, The Nu Delta Chi Vikings, hosted the event and I (Abdias) was just there to help when our sister society asked me to participate since there were not enough men signed up. So I did. Anna was hesitant to go but one of her friends told her that she would pay for Anna to go. After some convincing from her friend she signed up and attended the event. We finally coincidetally met after a couple of dates that night. In the 3 minutes that I had to meet Anna, I asked her for her number because I was genuinely interested. Anna was not one to easily give her number up but for some crazy reason she gave me her number that night. I then texted her to follow up for a coffee date that night. We met the following week. We both enjoyed a pleasant date over coffee and got to know each other a bit more. We both fell in love along the way of our friendship and the rest became history. ♥️
