In 2019 we both left to serve at BABR on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico where we met and became friends. After camp ended, we returned to our home states of Colorado and Illinois. At the end of 2020, I was based in Denver with my airline where I reconnected with Aaron and our friendship grew.

Over the next few years, the bond of our friendship grew. Any feelings or attraction were ignored and avoided until one evening when food poisoning caused all the truth to come out. After another month of praying and communicating about what a relationship would look like, we started dating.

On September 9th of 2023, with the blessing of our mentors and parents, we got married. Marriage to your best friend is 10 out of 10 and the adventures just that much sweeter! We are so thankful for the many blessings the Lord has placed on our life and marriage since the very first day. We are so excited to finally be able to celebrate our marriage with our loved ones!
