Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
Answer
While we're excited to celebrate with everyone, our venue has a capacity. If you have a plus-one, it is clearly labeled on the invite. If you are unsure, please reach out to Eric or Anna.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We love kids, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate all guests under age 18 on our wedding day. If your kid(s) names are included in the invite, then please RSVP on their behalf. Please reach out to Eric or Anna if you have any questions.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Answer
We're keeping it to one location. No extra driving. The Pavilion is located at 14831 E US Hwy 40, Kansas City, MO 64136.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Kansas City is spread out. We recommend driving or taking an Uber/Lyft.

Is there parking available near the venue?

Yes, there is free on-site parking.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Cocktail Attire: We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt (ties optional) and women wear a dress/separates.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Spring months in KC can be beautiful, but they can also be unpredictable. At this time, we're keeping both options open. We will let everyone know the location at least a week in advance of the wedding.

We have not, but we shared some recommendations on the "TRAVEL" page of this website.

What is the best airport to use?

We have a beautiful new airport that opened in 2023. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) will be your flight hub.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Answer
April is a cusp month for weather in KC. For our out of town guests, it may feel a bit cool with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s. But, have an indoor option and we're ready for whatever weather the day brings.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a beef, chicken, and veggie options.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 130 W Sunburst Lane Tempe, AZ 85284. A wedding card box will be at our reception. Because the wedding is a destination for us, we will be unable to transport any large gifts brought to the venue.

What's the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at The Pavilion on April 25, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 11:30 pm.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Answer
The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 5:00 pm. We recommend arriving at the venue at least 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to find a seat.

What time will your wedding reception end?
Answer
Our reception will end around 11:30 pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
A cocktail hour will take place in another room within the venue where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and small bites.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We have a photographer and videographer, so we want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during our special day. There will be a dedicated time during the ceremony when everyone will be given the opportunity to pull out phones and take photos. And, of course, once we move on to the cocktail hour and reception, photos and videos are fair game.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Answer
We would like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images. Please don't share photos of our wedding on social media prior to the formal posting. However, if you take cute family, couple, etc. photos without us in the pictures, feel free to post your gorgeous selves.

Where will wedding updates be posted?
Answer
Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage. Also Zola has a messaging feature that will text updates directly to your phone if there are any.
