Hillstone
One of our favorite restaurants in the world-- Alex loves the Thai Tuna Roll (with Spicy Mayo), and Anna loves the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Plus French Fries!
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar
A super fun conveyor belt sushi bar-- The sashimi is great, and the drinks are served by robots-- Kids will love it. Sawtelle is a great neighborhood to walk around and explore-- It's like LA's Little Tokyo.
Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook
Alex's favorite hike in LA-- It's 450 steep steps to the top, but there is also a paved road and switchback path to the overlook as well. (Option for a full 5 mile loop beyond the steps!)
Runyon Canyon
Another one of Alex's favorite hikes overlooking Hollywood Blvd and all of LA. (Option for a more challenging, unpaved route that takes you even higher.)
Amoeba Music
LA Landmark-- The largest independent record store in the world!
Saffy's
Another one of our favorites-- We celebrate Anna's birthdays and milestones here!
Wurstküche Restaurant Venice Beach
German gastropub in Venice-- Beers and brats and the best french fries in the entire world (Thai Peanut Sauce required.)
Landmark's Nuart Theatre
One of our favorite theaters, where we saw our first movie together. Lots of art, foreign, and independent films.
Cinemark Playa Vista and XD
Our number one go-to movie theater!
Wendy's Place
Our favorite breakfast place, in the heart of downtown El Segundo. We typically eat breakfast there every Saturday AND Sunday! (Anna gets the pancakes, Alex gets the french toast!)
Playa Del Rey Beach
Our local beach-- We like to read and watch sunsets here.
Venice Skatepark
Another LA landmark-- Crazy, chaotic, and super fun!
Venice Canal Historic District
Another LA landmark-- Cute, colorful beach cottages nestled along the Venice canals. Great for families and photo ops.

Iconic LA museum with robust collection classics and gardens with stunning views of the city.

Another one of our favorite museums-- An exquisite, mixed-bag collection including modern art.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
LA's premier modern art museum with a huge collection, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is right next door, too!
